tiki- you must have hhhhaaated Guga. He had the longest grunt I can remember that sounded like he sex-ay time.
I can never begrudge grunts because *hides under torrent of rotten fruit* I grunt when I play.

Seeing Elena win would be SO fantastic. Anyone who can play at that level for so long with such a (up until the last year or so) glaring deficiency to compensate for, deserves success; especially when she finally seems to have neutralized her weakness. Plus she seems to have a great attitude, and a sweet personality even when she's in the midst of a battle; even when she loses. I'm looking at you, Jankovic.
Sorry, I almost made it through that whole post without mentioning that other person.

Hee hee...this dislike of JJ makes me giggle. I don't mind her- she is a bitch granted, but bitch circa Hingis and it makes me laugh. But she is easy to root against I think.
If she started mocking anyone in the final when she was playing Schiavone- Franny would turn that mocking on its tail which would be fun to see.

There is only one reason I would be okay with a JJ/Franny final--I've missed my Saturday am gym classes for the past two weeks and if I don't get to that yoga class my muscles are going to seize and I'm not going to be able to walk anymore. Sam/Elena? Have to see it live. JJ/Elena? Live. Sam/Franny? Probably live. JJ/Franny? Can watch that one later in the day.
(I'm not going to jinx it by saying what is going on on Lenglen--but everyone look what is going on on Lenglen!)

Here's some more info on Huber v. Black If the bit about Black wanting her to give back her points is true, that seems like petty behavior, but when did Huber become such a loudmouth? It seems like ever since she became an American citizen, she does nothing but complain. Right now she's playing Venus and Serena in doubles along with Medina Garrigues, which I wish I could see, because all her drama with them is still pretty fresh, and I wonder if it's having any effect on the on-court atmosphere. |

I take back everything nice I had to say about ESPN working with TTC. Ever since Monday they've been forcing TTC's feed off the internet when ESPN goes on the air. They weren't doing that last week. I have no access to ESPN3.com since my company's cable provider isn't on their list so I go from a beautiful HD stream to the crap I can get on atdhe.net.

Weirdly, I didn't mind Guga. I can't think why. Maybe I was less bitchy back in the day. Nah. I think it was the wild hair. Who could not like a guy with that crazy hair?
