Talking to myself* -- Sod took the first set nicely 6-3, but Berdych has broken him for 3-1 in the second. It could be competitive, though I'd obviously like the enigmatic Sod (TES?) to win. I like him more but also, honestly, I think he'd be tougher mentally in a final.

*this makes me see my future as an old lady -- inappropriately short skirts and too much lipstick and dyed hair, saying lewd things to younger men. Wait, that's me now! Oh shit.

I'm at work now but I saw the first set and a half. My feelings about Soderling are well documented so it's no secret I'm pulling for Berdych. I don't think either of them stands a chance against Nadal in the final now that he has two healthy knees.

He's been complaining about that the whole tournament I think. He has been saying it looks bad that the courtside boxes are all empty, and that they should allow people to come down and be seat fillers when it's like that. I kind of agree with him.

Yeah it does look odd. When they were describing how the French go to the match when they feel like it and not on someone else's timetable, I was cracking up.

I'm rooting for Sod today (I'm assuming Nadal will win the second semi) and for Stosur tomorrow. Let's see how it goes!

I know this is now a daily thing with me but: help! Find me a feed! Vshare is under server maintenance to nothing on livescorehunter or channelsurfing. Atdhe.net gets theirs from ustream but the feed is broken. . . Does anyone have it anywhere?

eta: ustream (seems to have) fixed their EuroSport feed. Watching tennis is exhausting.

Oh, I absolutely agree with JMac about the empty seats. The US Open has the same problem. Those courtside seats are impossible to even get the opportunity to get and if you are given the option, you find out the price and forget it. One seat for one day of tennis is not worth the price of an entire vacation.
