Yeah that's the thing, I'd like it to be a competitive final. Berdych seems all right so it's not like I hate him or anything, but I think Sod-Nadal will be more of an interesting match than Berd-Nadal.

I've seen the crumpled tissue paper routine from Berd too many times to even like him too much. And I have no tennis on either. Yesterday I didn't even THINK to check for tennis on, so I missed my apparently small window ...

If you stick with atdhe.net, oops, it is just a popup window (and without the sex ads that channelsurfing has--at work, you know) so you don't have to deal with all the clutter on ustream. I really liked the stream that livescorehunting gave me yesterday but their server is down. The feed keeps getting broken on atdhe.net so be prepared to constantly going back to the host site and re-clicking on the match.
Yeah, that's my thought process as well. I do like Berdych and I think he's been getting his head together much better this spring but Soderling is still mentally stronger. And I will be rooting for Rafa in his semis but I no longer think I'm going to be too upset if Melzer beats another of my Spaniards. But that might be residual goodwill from the Djokovic match and his shot-making. I'll change my mind when I see Rafa and just root for Nadal.
eta: woohoo. 5th set. Here's hopping it lasts just about 50 minutes so NBC will be able to start live at 11am--although not for you, right tiki? It'll be 1pm here by the time it goes on for you?

I forgot to say this yesterday, but when I read the words "dear Rafa," I can't help but think "Dear Leader." Not that there are any similarities other than that single word, but still -- it makes me laugh.
Nice job, Sod, now finish him off.

At least according to TV Guide online, I don't get the second semi until 11 mountain / 1 eastern. I think I heard that the central time zone is not getting the match until 11 local time as well. Thank you, NBC fuckwits, I'm ever so grateful you even bother to broadcast anything. At any rate, I'll be livestreaming it. My patience and impulse control are pretty much non-existent.
eta my typing skills seem to have become non-existent as well.

I found a working stream just in time to see the last three points. Maddening. I'm glad General Sod won though. I like Berdych, but I agree that he's still a little suspect mentally in spite of the fact that he's had some great performances over the last year or so. I'm expecting Rafa to make it to the final (if he doesn't the shock may require me to go home sick), and a final like that requires the focus of a dead-eyed snarling automaton like Sod. That last statement wasn't too gushy was it? As you all know, I like him a lot, but I don't want to come off like a fanboy.
