No, I wasn't being tactful. I just couldn't remember who I attributed some hideous statements to. It wasn't Hingis though. I had no idea she said anything like that. I did a little digging and the pro I was trying to remember is Margaret Court. She made a lot of ignorant comments about homosexuality "ensnaring" young players on the tour.
Does anyone know which of the courts at the US Open are televised? I'm looking at tomorrows schedule and trying to figure out which matches I may see on television or streamed on the computer.

That I DO remember (forgive me if I'm missing your tact or sarcasm) - Hingis said that Navra was 'half man' or something like that. I was very, very disappointed with her, which is why it stuck in memory. I think Hingis made that "half man" comment about Amelie Mauresmo. although in my opinion Margaret Court has said some pretty reprehensible things on the subject.

Speaking of clothes - Djoker is wearing his big boy Hot Wheels jammies. The best though is Djoker's father who has a giant Djoker head silk screened on the front of his t-shirt. It's a dorky picture too. Ooo, you are wrong for that. "Hot Wheels Jammies". SOOOOO PERFECT!!! God that family creeps me out. I bet a wing of their house is dedicated as a shrine to Nole. I've seen more parental restraint at "Little Miss Perfect" pageants.

Rowdy crowd tonight - yeeks. Are they allowed to drink at USOs?
On the one hand, heckling Nole between 1st/2nd serve is TOTALLY unacceptable.
However, on matchpoint, up 2-0... well, Nole could be a bit more impervious to the rudeness.

Nevermind the SuburbanSoccerDadness of the face shirt, what sort of 70s acid trip Mystery Machine dress is DjokoMom wearing? She should go see Peach who will design her something very ladies-who-lunch.
Did Djokovic crotch grab or something? I missed it. I just can't watch the guy for more than 4-5 minutes at a time. I actually enjoy his game. It's the looking at him between points that puts me off.

Apoca - Gilbert asked him if he had the "tweener...the shot between the legs" and Djoker answered "I have something else between my legs". He then went on to add "Don't worry I'm not going to show it to you tonight".

Djokovic makes me stabby.

And I was actually more repulsed by his victory fist-pump thingy. He totally waited 5 seconds during which he was calm, and then went ballistic. Totally intentionally over the top. What's his point? So sadly off....

Pam Shriver said similar things in her book and she was Nav's doubles partner. Navratilova did go through a lot back then, which she referenced in her speech on Monday night. She talked about coming out as a lesbian and the crowd started cheering, and Martina wryly said something like: "Thanks, because people weren't cheering me back then."
I found it interesting that both Gilbert and Cahill said that Djokovic needs to add at least 10-15 pounds of muscle. Roddick and Fish have slimmed way down and gotten better results, but they went on and on about how adding bulk to the legs and glutes would help.
