Yes. My dad and I were talking about sports commentators last night (he couldn't dislike Aikman more if he tried) and how ex-players (for all sports) have gotten away from straight color and are doing play-by-play and that it is just too much blabbering with everyone doing both color and play-by-play. He said the same thing you said during that match, apocalipstick, that you only need that much detail if you're doing radio. So I was trying to tell him how here was this player (Tarango) who couldn't have been a worse human being on the tour if he tried (I pulled out the "his wife hit a chair umpire" as an example) but was doing pure color and how enjoyable it was to hear. My dad didn't really care because, at that moment, the Steelers got a first down on a Jets penalty. But here I was, not only liking the consummate asshole's commentary, but telling other people about it. What has the world come to?

Guess it depends on the bone and the break. I've had a broken sesamoid bone in my foot for 6 months. It's not a structural bone so no harm comes from it. Hurts a lot though. I've never stopped playing tennis. Of course, I dont' play ATP level tennis. Verdasco looked like he was having a lot of trouble in the Berdych match.

Come on, Li Na! And I would be rooting for her even if I hadn't heard that Petkovic posted a video, teaching her fans how to do "the dance." Ugh.

I'd post a link, but why give her video any hits? Y'all can Google it if you're interested.

Yeah... no.
Just finished the Ferrar-Raonic match - was impressive. I'm glad that Raonic isn't all server, anyway. Fer looking through his hair is SO hot (in the montage). Heh, no one's spoiled me yet for the next 5 hours, so... on to the next 5 hours!

I think I'm falling in love with Li Na. I like her attitude, and her game has been so impressive over the past few weeks.

I love the hilarious and ball-smacking Li Na and would be thrilled if she won the whole shebang. I hope she smashes Wozniacki and/or Saint Mama Clijsters.

Is Stan's sunblock visible or something? There's something weird across his cheekbones and nose
And did they just say that Stan the Man was more like Stan the Tomato Can? What does that even mean?

I don't know what it is. I've seen it before and it's noticable in pictures too. Stan's really having a bad day at the office. I'm rooting for Fed bu I'm not enjoying this match.

A lot of players are laying on the sunscreen really thick this tournament. I don't know if they're all buying the same brand or what, but yes, that's sunscreen on Stan's face.
Boy, PMac, Brad and Chris are coming down hard on Stan. While I agree that Stan is just going through the motions and it's a bizarre match to watch, those three have to be careful because they've swerved into Debbie Downer territory and anyone who isn't a dedicated tennis fan would have turned the channel listening to them.

Really. For someone who had an off and flat night (at commentating, no less!) not too long ago, Brad should tone down the judgment just a hair.

Belated woo hoo for Li Na! I would most like her or Vera to win.
I can't get over how unflattering that Stella McCartney dress is on Woz. It is a grab bag of unflattering lines and shapes.
