The ball is bending all over the court. For both of them to figure out where it is going to land and hit the next shot into the rally is just incredible.
I'm thinking Andy and Alex should 1) practice together and 2) play doubles together.

Acre- I have been quite impressed with Dolgo's fight this third set. Coming back from a break down etc. I have found this third set entertaining . I hope things pick up for you on the medical front.

I agree with Brad (shocker!). Andy needs this tight match to help him win the tournament. And I agree with Chris (no shocker). Holiday beers have indeed kicked in.
Dolgopolov looks like those Will Ferrell/Chris Kattan clubbing characters from SNL with the head bob in his serve motion.
Oh dear. Murray's gaping maw was not something I needed to see in slow motion.

When Murray opened his mouth, Tikiboy involuntarily yelled, "Groundskeeper Willie!"
I'm surprised that Murray lost his head like that in the tiebreak. And I'm happy that I'm getting more tennis tonight, because I can't see staying up for the last match.

Yeah. I agree with Pam (damn, I must be tired). Murray has to stop with the negative emotions. It's been a problem his entire career.
I'm totally going to start saying I need a "comfort break" when I go to the restroom.

Agreed Chesty, fun third set. Now don't let it all get away from your Dolgo, fight, go down swinging if you must go down!
And thansk:) there will be no longterm improvement I'm afraid, but I'll take the well-timed reprieves coinciding with finals w/e of a Grand Slam!

Afraid this is gonna be sp, could've sworn I'd already posted, modified, and repost. Sorry for the repition if so.
Comfort break? Oh right, that's when we all come hold you and rock you and croon it's all gonna be allright I promise! *snckers*
Though I'm quite sure it really is more comfortable to play with a dry shirt(socks, shoes, etc) and empty bladdrer rather than vice-versa!
And oh yeah - if I ever, EVER, get too snarky bordering on hostility pls slap me down right away, it's always done in a spirit of good fun "I tease because I love", but in the past sometimes I don't know my own mouth and have ended up much nastier than I'd ever meant to be.
Yup, plenty late already, I'm certainly not staying up to watch Rafa bury Ferrer. Yawn - both cause I'm sleepy and cause I don't figue that match would have anything work staying awake for

I agree! I don't recall you ever being nasty. And besides- different people have different levels of snark. I tend to get Mama Bear about things I know but that's just me. I actually think Ferru could take it to Rafa. But I will have to DVR as I sleep as I have work in the am. Thanks for letting me gush about Dolgo tonight. It can be fun to watch a player you have been excited about show flashes on a bigger stage- goofy hair and lapses in concentration be darned.

Grimly - you all jus wait till I quit smoking w/o a 3 week hospital and rehab cushion. How do they put it ... " Amy?? She'll rip yur fucking head off"
Between the fear and the drugs and the wa-too-litle sleep, I haven't much filter these days - but I'm also much older that I was back then in "those days", so I think some(not too much) common sens came along for the ride.''Enjoyed what bits of Dolgo I saw, and just hoe I'l have the opportunity to say "oh yeay I knew him when 11 Oz, clearly a guy wth potentialan ta-da"
Hee, you get Mama Bear chesty? You don't say, not really! Prettys we should be hiring you on anyday to check that Rafa;s porride is juuuuuuust right! *G*

Huh - Ferrer up sa set and a break. I don't really beilive it though. If/when the match ends and 'Rafa has really and truly lost it, game, st and match ....... sure' Id believ, but not a moment earlier. Still think Rafa's winning this, would take me a LOT to not believe that. And even then it would take a lot of believin. Not that Ferrer's sho shaby, but Rafa really is that good,
Not gonna stay up fr the rest, exect to read lke :Rafa was truly tesetd last nightm but with the heart of a camphion he game throgh. Naturally - He;s Rafael Nadal afer alll EE, i will just say, and ervently -hope their's nothing wrhong with him

I did not expect to get up this morning and see Ferrer up 2 sets to 0 against Nadal. You go wee Ferru!
ETA - Straight sets for Ferrer. I realize that Rafa was having problems out there but listening to PMac it sounded like he was playing with a leg damn near amputation and the bubonic plague.

I hate my keyboard ... missing letters, transposed letters, it'a a fierce struggle to get out clear sentences, hard work. Yeah, this was not drinks or drugs, just late and keyboard for shit

Prescient chesty! I woke up to the celebration and the shock from PMac and Chris. I'll have to get a good look at what happened--although, breezy, color me shocked that David still doesn't get the respect he deserves. Chris McKendry said after the Murray/Dolgopolov match that David is never going to beat himself and that is the damn truth.
I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do tonight. I care about the women's semis but not as much as I do the Federer/Djokovic match so I thought I'd go to bed super early to wake up to watch. Then, they scheduled Max/Daniel vs. Bhupathi/Paes to "not start before 12:30" (8:30 my time) so. . . I guess I'll just go with a disgusting lack of sleep again?
Man, Rafa is the definition of a class act:
