Damn. Paes/Bhupathi are a game away from winning the semi match. That will mean the men's doubles final will be the rude vs. the weird. I can skip that.

Hi, everyone -- Just got home and will start watching the semi's on DVR. Feeling very nervous for Roger's match, as per usual.
I'm rooting hard for Li Na. She's really cool.
Wozniaki's mouth really bugs me, as does her voice. <shallow/mean>
I guess I'm rooting for for Kim, just because I find her tennis more exciting to watch than Vera's.
Feeling so sorry for sweet Rafa. I was rooting for Daveed, but didn't want to see Rafa injured. Did anyone address the question of whether there was a danger of worsening the injury by soldiering on?

Apropos of nothing, Li Na's husband has the ugliest necklace for a guy ever.
Felt horrible for Rafa, I was totally rooting for him all the way (which, maybe ungracious of me since he was the top seed, but still)
Sometimes I think that Le Na doesn't come in aggressively enough on high balls from Woz, content to let them bounce, but she's doing good now!

Any of these four women can win and I'll be good with it. I like it when it works out that way.
I'm going to bed as soon as this set is over. I hope it goes to a third but I don't think I'll be awake.
I wonder if I can keep my fingers crossed for Federer while I sleep?

Come on Li Na! Break back! I am going to have to turn off the match as she is doing better when I don't watch .  Nothing against Woz but I am getting ttired of her beating players that I like and have more fun watching. |
