Didn't it though? I just don't want Rafa to win another Wimbledon right now and I won't be rooting for Djokovic so. . . what to do?
C'mon Andy! Get it back together!

What the f is it with the fight going out of players?
And, as much as it pains me to say, I gotta give props to Brad G for his hilarious and spot-on comments regarding Murray and his in-match physical woes. He just gave the raspberry to every grab, grope, limp etc. "Between the ears."

Funny how I always find a way to be desk-bound and doing paperwork just when I need to be. Still though, this time I missed most of the play that has happened today. I'm trying to get into it now, but Murray isn't helping.

I gotta agree with whoever was waxing poetic about Kim Sears yesterday, although I think my favorite tennis girlfriend is still Soderling's.

I'm missing the game. Rafa playing better or Andy not playing as well as the first set??

Well, I think she's a wife, but I adore Davy's wife. She's a pistol.

lb, at the start of the 2nd Andy let up a bit and Rafa got his teeth in. . . and we all know what Rafa is like once he's got his teeth into a match. Andy has been trying and some of the points are really quite something but there just isn't any question about what the result is going to be anymore.
I miss Davydenko and it makes me so sad that he went all that time without any sponsorships, played great, gave great interviews, finally got some notice, got some sponsorships, messed up his wrist and hasn't worn a darn thing after coming back. It's just such a sad story. But he does have that spectacular wife, so there's that.
eta: wow. looking at Andy's face, Kim's face, Judy's face. . . this is a bad loss for Andy. Worse than I would have imagined. All three looked gutted. They must have had a much better feeling going into this match than I would have thought.

Tu-ns out I was pulling fo- Andy, even though I like Nadal mo-e. I often don't know who I want to win until play is on, and I discove- who I actually want by my -eactions. Oh well, I expeced it to be Nadal and su-e as hell looking like it. On the upside, it should be clash of the titans in the final. Best in the wo-ld going at it ... should be high quality tennis. Best be! If Djok didn't have a family I think I;'d want him, but I don't know if I can get ove- the assholishness. Stll much -athe- see a 1st time- though. I don't have much of a -ooting inte-est in a Nadal-Djok match. Usually I'd be Nadal all the way, but like I said, would be fun to see a new face.

Blah. The eternal snarl at the world. The OCD. The exaggerated jumps and passive-aggressive pump-ups. The complete-and-utterly-fine physicality - no bone injury in sight. (Please. Talk about tease.)
I just cannot watch the man-child without stirring a hate deep in my soul.
Saving myself (and you all!) and making new plans for Sunday morning! (But, go Djok!)

I caught the aftermath in trying to find a stream. Poor Murrays. His mother looked like she was trying to be strong for him. He really was playing well this tournament and I have no doubt he will win it one day.
If I wasn't a Rafa fan, I would be more upset to see this kid constantly run into a wall here. It's the feeling I had seeing Rafa lose four times to Djokovic in a row this year. Vamos Rafa but I'll find a way to be okay with Djok winning as long as it's not an easy three setter.

Well, I think she's a wife, but I adore Davy's wife. She's a pistol. She's actually Soderling's fiance, apparently. ITA about Davy's wife.

Davydenko is playing naked these days? I don't think I want to see that.
The men's final isn't what I wanted at all. It's ok but I'm not very excited about it.

I've been nervous about Rafa-Djokovic matches all year but I'm not too worried about Sunday-- Rafa seems very at home in the Wimby final, and he is a much more aggressive player at this tournament than anywhere else. This will not be the same player Djoko has beaten all year. Plus I feel Djoko's game and movement can be exploited on grass, which is still his worst surface. I'm expecting Rafa to prevail in 4!

The Rafa-Djoker final isn't at all what I was wanting, but they play some of the most blisteringly thrilling tennis against each other. And as for grass, I remember them playing a grass court final (Eastbourne?) a couple of years ago that was just jaw-dropping tennis from beginning to thrilling end. So it could be a great final.
If Rafa wins it, then the guy who holds three slam titles and won the last two won't be number one. That just doesn't sound right. It's not as though he was losing in the first round every other tournament.
