We just have to complain about it here and they put the match we want on (geez, if only it were that easy).
Feli started arguing with someone in the stands but I couldn't figure out why. Later in the match he yelled something in the same direction but I don't know what happened.
I was away from a TV for only about a half an hour and we're in the second set.
Djoker was insane in his match. I only got to see the end of the third but when I started watching he hadn't had one unforced error yet--and he ended up with only 3.

I was away from a TV for only about a half an hour and we're in the second set.. She gave Serena a little bit of trouble towards the end of the first set, and here and there throughout there were flashes of the tactics that almost beat Venus, but Serena never really let her in.

Fuck! Serena tossed this match away. Sabine played the big points well and deserved this win, but Serena should have won this in two. She looked tight and nervous and furious. Well, at least she didn't lose to Maria. I like Sabine and now I don't care who wins on the women's side.

HOLY ****!!!!!!!! I did not see that happening! As a matter of fact, it was too stressful for me to watch (I'm a Lisicki fan--fellow GF'ers unite) but I heard the roar while I was watching Sloane/Puig on ESPN2.
And I've got Fer/De Schepper on ESPN3 so this is crazy time for the watching.
I'm not looking ahead but Li Na vs. Sabine Lisicki in the semis? Could be a spectacular match.

It's a wild Wimbledon out there, seems like nobody's safe. We'll definitely have an unexpected women's champion.

Oof. I was afraid that might happen. Sabine has some kind of juju when it comes to Wimbledon. But then so doe Serena, so even though I was afraid it might happen, I'm still shocked. This is crazy.

At this point I'm hoping for complete chaos - surprise me, SW19! How about Pironkova and Kubot?

francie, I'm so glad you found your password again! Me too! Despite my best efforts have not bred any tennis fans Instead have become a hockey goalie mom. Which is definitely classified as weird places parenthood has led me lol. My twitter feed keeps me in tennis loop but forgot how much I love it here. so weird that Vika and Maria can't take advantage of Serena's exit but Radwanska is up a break... Always looked at her as overachiever, this seems like one of her best chances at slam. So conflicted re:DelPo and Seppi. Adore them both but would like to see quality matches going fwd and think Juan way more capable of that.

I am not Polish but I'm just picturing the headlines from today's events.
Very impressive mental strength from Sabine today. That streak regarding all the French Open winners she's beaten at that year's Wimbledon (Kuznetsova 09, Li 11, Sharapova 12 and now this) is the most awesome fact of the tournament.
In comparison to everything else that's going on, I appreciate that Andy Murray brings just enough drama to keep the crowd on the edge of their seat... but not actually causing serious damage. That's how I'd describe that second set against Youzhny.

So Andy was such an Andre fan that he wore a long blond wig--well, so did Andre. . .
I wonder what the match against Fer will be like. Andy's game destroys Fer but Fer really has been playing way better than anyone (including himself) expected. I had no idea until Darren said it that Fer was going to skip the grass completely this year until he picked up the new racquet and decided to try Eastbourne.

lt - It's at moments like that I'm glad Jamie is famous enough to be interviewed... and I love the interviewer chiming in about the "Wimbledon champ in the family". (Edited: the interviewer brought it up, not Jamie)
Darren also said that Fernando signed up for four tournaments in a row on clay... which would have been a really weird way to break out of the slump. Sincerely hope he's pulling out of a couple of those.

He's got to be, right? He needs to find out what this new racquet can do on hard courts before the summer gets behind him.
I cannot believe Max and Horia were up two sets and lost the match. This partnership is just not working out well--which is weird because on paper they do look like they should be complementary. I guess this will be the first time I do not get to see Max in the WTF. Darn, this was a duo I was really looking forward to.
