Well, here we are, another year pretty much gone in a flash. We've had 4, pretty memorable slams i think, each in the own different way. But which was your favourite.

For me, it's Wimbledon this year. Rafa making that breakthrough on grass, and also being a great men's final outright, good stuff.

I have to agree. I never really thought about which major was my favorite until this very moment, but I think it's always been Wimby. As for this year in particular, I think all the upsets and tight matches made it the most exciting. Also after last year, making it through an entire fortnight without any appreciable delays was a treat. Plus two great finals didn't hurt either.

Usually though, I'm a huge fan of the French open! I don't know why, but I have always loved watching matches on clay. It might be because the game is a bit slower, and it sort of reminds me of boxing?

The women's and men's finales at Wimby were both of a high standard, as was so many of the other matches. Wimby 08 it is... for me.

Wimbledon, no question. That final was legendary. So much so that I could feel the atmosphere just from the TV. I only wish I had had the courage to finish watching it live.

US Open. Yes, big Roger fan, but it was also the first time in many years that I went in person (to the middle rounds) and that experience was a lot of fun, albeit hot and dehydrating.
Still waiting to see the final though but I think my mom has the tape.

For purely selfish reasons I'm going to have to go with Wimbledon--this year it fell right in the middle of my big summer business trip and I could watch so much of it while working at the hotel. Really helped my stress levels during the trip and I was ecstatic about seeing so much more than usual.

For the first time in my life I'm choosing the USO! My obvious favorite, and some happiness after a trying year all around. I live for Wimbledon every year, but was drained by the tournament and it fell right in the height of my busy season, which also left me drained.
And I always love the AO - but couldn't really celebrate with the Djoko.
