The draw will be released in less than 24 hours! Rafa's the only person who has been delivering as expected. Everyone else is either playing surprisingly well, or surprisingly poorly. I think this could be an eventful fortnight.

falafaclese, thanks for the thread. Once again, you've seen through my thinly-veiled hints. . . Here is the TV schedule for TTC. I tried to get the ESPN one from their site but the link goes nowhere right now. GoToTennis has a complete schedule up but I don't know how accurate it is. I keep forgetting the French starts on Sunday. I had originally made plans to go to a Little League game on Sunday but luckily it got switched to Saturday before I had to cancel. (Nah, I wouldn't have canceled. . .but I do have to empty out my TiVo for the sheer volume of tennis coming up.)

Yay! FRENCH OPEN!
I'm bragging about having the DirecTV multiple channels of coverage. The slams are something DirecTV does well. Very well.
Soderling is sucking up the court lately. I had almost started to like him a little bit, but just can't manage it. I can see him going out by the third round. It depends on the all exciting draw! Tomorrow. YAY!

Don't forget about espn3.com (formerly espn360.com). I seem to remember it having multiple feeds in the past, and if you have a good internet connection, the quality is excellent.

I'm not going to complain about not having DirecTV or access to ESPN3 (they don't do Cablevision) because I have TTC this year so I'm getting a lot more than I did last year.
Fer is in Rafa's quarter so I guess that's as far as he's going--if he even makes it there, Almagro comes before Rafa. I noticed Feli is seeded (27, but still) and Isner is 17. Querrey meets Ginepri in the first round so at least I get rid of one of those quickly. I'd say it is interesting that Roddick is in Beaker's quarter but Roddick has been moaning so much about clay this year that I don't expect him to make it that far. Actually, Beaker's draw is good for him but he has the Mosquito on his side of the quarter and then Ferrer awaits on the top half. Unless Soderling finds his form and Gulbis keeps his, Fed has a relatively easy quarter.

If Murray gets out of the first round, his draw is pretty nice.
Verdasco, Gonzalez and Almagro all in the same part of the draw. Poor Gonzo. The survivor will have no energy to deal with Rafa.
Soderling will not make it to the French Open final rematch vs. Roger. Just haven't figured out if it'll be Federer-Gulbis Round 4 or another opponent.

I can't find Ivanovic in the draw. Can someone point me to her quarter?
I follow men's tennis much closer than I do women's but I'm more interested in the women's draw as I think the winner of the men's is a fore gone conclusion. The women have really been all over the place and I think it's anyone's tournament to win.
ETA - never mind I found her in JJ's quarter.

Ana is on the bottom of the top half of the draw in the same section as Kleybanova and Radwanska. My draw looks completely mental. I've got Venus winning the whole thing, and I don't feel confident about it at all, but the way it works out, it's either her in the final or Aravane Rezai, and neither of them feel right. I have Serena as the other finalist. I feel like I should be picking Henin over her in the quarters, but that doesn't feel right either. The whole thing's a shambles. I think I'll be making some modifications before play starts on Sunday.

I joined both brackets Fala! I find that site a little confusing so it took a bit of work. I actually ended up with Jankovic beating Azarenka in the final. That sounds a little weird.

Hey all. Here is a nice article about the number one ranking, what Roger has to do to maintain, etc. It's under 3-way battle for No 1. www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2010/05/Roland-Garros/Roland-Garros-Statistical-Preview.aspxHere's the summary - Federer will remain No. 1 if he reaches the SFs but anything less and Nadal wins the title, then the Spaniard regains No. 1. - Nadal must win the title and have Federer lose before the semi-finals to take over No. 1. - Djokovic must win the title and have Federer lose before the quarter-finals I'm not worried about the No 1 record, but I know that interests a lot of people. I'd bet money on Djokovic staying at No 3 though. If Murray does well and Djokovic chokovics, Murray could take over No 3. I don't have faith in that either. I expect Soderling to go out early and drop out of the top 10. I can't wait until Sunday!

I don't anticipate Djoker being a major factor. I read this about him on the ESPN website:

Phlegm. Gross. I just checked the weather for Paris. Sunny tomorrow and Monday, but rain the rest of the week. Ugh. Well, maybe we can get the rain in now and have beautiful weather for Wimbledon.

Is it a law that all residents of Virginia MUST also be Dave Matthews fans? Or is Devvarman just a stoner? Pretty, though.
