I'm wondering once again why Venus designs her own dresses and then spends entire matches trying desperately to keep her tizz covered. Also, I think she should have included a merkin with those invisible underwear. I would laugh sooooooooooo hard.

HA! I'm watching the DirecTV mix too and it does seem like the guy is talking to himself since his partner rarely says a word. Weird.
I'm also watching the Tsonga/Brands match which is going to a fifth set.
P.S. I never thought I'd see the word "merkin" on a tennis board. Hilarious! ;D

I am loving Oracene's hair right now.
That sucks that the replaced the commentators on RRG. Gigi does a lot of work for Radio Wimbledon and I actually don't mind her- but I will miss Eli and Araz. I can be either really annoyed by Matthew Cronin- (I actually think he can be very dismissive of some players) but other times I enjoy him.
I would love it if they could get Jon Wertheim of SI or Steve Tignor of Tennis Magazine to do some radio commentary.

At the end of the day I want Tsonga to win but I think I'm developing quite the crush on Brands. This is a super good-looking duo out there right now. And I want to give a big kiss to the inventor of the string that the players have been using for the past few years. I'm just loving this net play on clay. I just started noticing that all the players are doing it at the beginning of this clay court season and it's great fun.

I noticed that in the Venus match as well. They had the same problem with Cahill. I'm listening to the TV coverage in protest.
Crazy Patty kinda showed some heart. In the beginning, I'm pretty sure they showed her ubercreepy husband sucking down what looked like a beer.
I'm pulling for Brands. Something about Tsonga is annoying me today. I usually like him. It could be, that from a distance, and if I squint really hard, Brands looks like Marat's less hot younger brother.

Tsonga looks like he has random strips of tape on his outfit. I don't get the love for Brands, though. My (sadly deceased) grandfather would have said he looks like a drip.

My mom said Venus dress is like a saloon girls from the old west. She liked it in red but I like in black lace. That song so fits, lol. And it was nice that Venus finally served the match out.
Was that guy in yellow Patty's husband? He was guzzling down that beer like it was his last drink on Earth. He did look uber-creepy.
Brands is hot! Like smoking hot. I'm watching too much Glee.

I do kinda feel bad or Tsonga as he was feeling sick and requested a later than Sunday start and was denied. And the crowd is not cheering Jo as much as I would have thought. If he were playing a Spaniard- any Spaniard- I am sure they would be in full rooting tilt since the French crowd is especially fond of jeering and cheering against Spanish players - although they are nastier to some than others.
Brands is interesting looking- profile not fantastic but nice looking from the front.

There's too much hilarity on this board today for me to respond to everything. I'll just say that you guys are cracking me up even more than usual right now.
I really like CLM's dress a lot more in the black than the red. It's fun, but up close, the sheer lace, which would be interesting otherwise is little too non-athletic, and (as someone mentioned a few days ago) that kind of bugs me a little bit. Something about Venus allows her to pull off a provocative design very well though. The problem with the "tizz" always puzzles me too. I'm glad she seems to still be playing well though.
