I personally don't mind a player dressing plain (a la Justine) if they just aren't fashionable - from photos of her offcourt, I'd say she's definitely not. Better that than trying to be fashionable and failing miserably - Aravane, looking at you.
I am glad Tsonga pulled it out because I actually have him to make the final! Was I high? Probably. I just couldn't write Roger into that final, nobody in his path seemed a concern (yeah, had Gulbis for the quarters so that was strike one), and Jo was the semifinalist.

That must have been a corker of a match. I'd hate to have to think about it all night and then come back and try to finish it up. I think it might actually be worse to be the first one to serve tomorrow.

It's going to be tough to watch the Murray/Gasquet match if JMac is commentating it. Already through the Federer match, it seems like he's looking for opportunities to take shots at Richard.

I just have to say that Roger looks so good in his French Open outfit. I'm so glad Anna got a hold of him and now his shirts and shorts are tailored to fit. Especially since I re-watched the 06 French final and his shirt was hanging off him and he looked like Andy Roddick, tugging at his shirt. Now Roger looks absolutely delicious today.
Should be a great match with Andy and Richie.
I dislike JMac and wonder what the hell he's doing with TTC? I don't want to listen to him and Ted together blab on and on about nonsensical things. Grrr! Argh!

Have you guys downloaded the application to watch matches on your computer from The Tennis Channel? I just did it. They give you a lot of court choices but, believe it or not, I'm going with Beaker/Korolev. I'm not getting any sound so maybe I'll add in Radio Roland Garros as a complement.
eta: nevermind--I got the sound to work.

There is plenty to criticize in regards to Gasquet (have I mentioned his impromptu press conference on the grounds of the USO a few years back. He had forfeited b/c of a cold, which he might have had but managed to look great in a red polo none the less) but hopefully JMac isn't commenting on his cocaine situation. Serena is expending quite a bit of energy in her match, which might be for the best considering her lack of play since AO. |

francienolan - Oh I know there is (and no, it wasn't about the cocaine situation but the "cold" incident did come up during the Mayer withdrawal news). It's just that you can tell when JMac is ready to blast off on someone and he's clearly lining up ammunition.

Oh happy day. TSN has stopped using the feed from the US and switched to Eurosport. That means no Carillo or JMac.
There is a French dude who commentates and he's absolutely hilarious. Last year's commentary about fat players had me in stitches. Does anyone know who he is?

French of the Balls, my internet connection at work is so maddeningly intermittent. How is it possible that my home connection could be so much better than my office? Don't they know that I need to watch streaming video while I work?
