Marion didn't need to see Pierce Brosnan in the stands this semi, she is putting the beat down on Flipkens. Awful news for Pierce btw as his daughter just died from same cancer ovarian, that killed his first wife and her mom. Maybe Marion will send him flowers this time around  Soo great to see Mauresmo! At this rate I will be out enjoying the Fourth in record time. I am rooting for Sabine but whichever way it goes think it will be longer thn this. |

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. The gym I go to out here closes at 1pm today and I had thought I would have to watch one of the semis from there, but it doesn't look like it right now (considering it's only 8:30 right now).
falafaclese, I agree about the Lotto dress.
If Lisicki could just get her over-hitting under control she'll be golden. Loving these points though--so strategic.

Well I wouldn't say I'm anti-Bartoli, but I do find her a bit annoying to watch. Same idea as Vika and the noise. Seem to be nice enough people, good to excellent games, I should enjoy watching them but they make it so damn hard.
So I'm hoping the ultimate winner comes out of the Aga-Lisicki match, as I do enjoy both of them. Lisicki is obviously the bigger underdog (at least on paper), but Aga I don't think will have a lot of chances to actually win a Slam so ... six of one I guess. Once watching, so long as it's competitive, I'm bound to find myself pulling for one of them. I just don't know who yet.

That's how I feel. I like her but I don't like her tennis. She just always looks so awkward. Between Lisicki and Radwanska I have no favorite. Either winning the title would be good.

So we're now one match from the Bryans getting the Golden Calendar Slam. The other SF is Paes-Stepanek vs Dodig-Melo.
The first set was all Lisicki but now Radwanska is putting on a show as Sabine is lost. Aga has now broken five times in a row.
ETA: Either that of Sabine has Aga exactly where she wanted her. Flashback to Serena match.

Man, I love this kind of tennis. So many angles. I loved Chris Fowler saying earlier that it was geometry.
Sabine has the break to serve for the match! What will she do? I knew I was rooting for her going in but I'm surprised at myself as this match has gone on just how much I want her to win.
That guy who looks like Feli with a different nose in Aga's box is freaking me out. I saw him hitting when I was in Miami and until I got much closer I really thought it was Feli.

They really have. This match more than makes up for the earlier one. I don't know if it is the camera angle but so many of these shots seem to be barely skimming the top of the net. Very stressful watching.
Okay! Sabine has to serve it out one more time. . .
Awww, congrats to Sabine.
Aga wasn't too thrilled at the handshake, huh? Wonder if there was something going on I don't know about.
