Well, my Wimbledon sucked. 3 days in and one of my coworkers went into early labor. 2 others were already on vacation as it was. Anyway, I got stuck with 8 consecutive days of 12 hour shifts. Trying to watch matches without being spoiled was almost impossible and when I did watch, I'd fall asleep like 10 minutes in. Anyway, at least I got some good news with the pool. Last time I checked, I was almost in last place. Anyhoo, looks like Wimby was great. I totally know the outcome, but I'm still catching up on matches. Maybe by the end of the week, I'll finally finish the Mahut-Isner match.

About 48 hours left to submit your picks. I somehow ended up with Azarenka as my women's champ, and Murray for the men. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.

Aren't those BG's picks, fala?? I don't think I have the stamina to do the women's. Each match-up is a brain-teaser.

Aren't those BG's picks, fala?? N-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O! Well, the plus side is that maybe that means Venus has a better chance of winning.

I'm not sure how I did this but I seem to have entered each pool twice, with the same user name and exact same picks. Maybe I'll tie myself for last place.

fafaclese - I have no idea why but I picked the same two winners. Especially weird as I cannot stand Azarenka.

That first week seeme dto go by really quickly! Here are the standings so far:
WTA: 1. mooncreek 2. falafaclese 3. breezybee
ATP: 1. mooncreek 2. breezybee 3. oopssorry
Both of my picks for champion are out, so I'm not liking my chances going forward. I can't believe I'm still top three in the WTA pool as Azarenka withdrew ages ago.

It looks like The winner of the WTA pool has already been decided. The way things have worked out, vallegirl will be the winner no matter what happens in the final. Congrats valle! I'll post the top three for both pools after the finals.
