To twist that around, I picked a Nadal/Djok final because, confidence or not, I can't see Fed getting past Beaker. I would be happy to be wrong.
OMG - I was looking at the entries - EVERYONE has Dinara winning this! I guess there is a consensus #1 after all.

My hopes for Amelie sure broke my WTA bracket. She was playing so well this spring--oh well. And I should have known better than to think Querrey would do anything.
eta: I love Bolelli but I'm not happy he won solely because Berdych just broke my ATP bracket. Ugh.

My bracket will get ruined by Monfils. He had said that he would wait until the last second before determining if he was healthy - which with a Tuesday 1st round would occur after the brackets deadline. So I based it off of him withdrawing and replaced by a lucky loser.
Shame too because when healthy he is fun to watch at Roland Garros, as last year proved.

I didn't participate this time around, but has anyone's bracket survived? There have been a ton of upsets; I imagine you all are in a race to see who made the fewest mistakes, rather than the most good picks!

That's certainly true for me. On the women's side I only have Kuznetsova and Safina left and on the men's. . . only Roger.

Right now at the semifinal level, agentx is leading the ATP pool, and Kris S (I'm not sure who that is) is leading the WTA pool. The "what-if" scenarios are now available so you can see if you have a chance of winning. I think the answer for me is a resounding NO.

Believe it or not (I don't), I win the WTA pool if Svetlana wins her semis match. Not a chance in heck on the ATP side.

I think you and exo13 would tie for top spot if Federer wins. I can't see the what-if scenarios for the ATP but I think that's how it would work out.

I'm exo13. I'm not sure why there are no scenarios for the ATP. I'll see if I can figure it out.

Congrats lt. It was funny because when you posted that I was in the lead (I'm Kris S), I saw the what-ifs and I knew I'd be dropped down so fast.
Now for the weird - I had Gonzo and Fed as the losers in semis! So the one where I thought I was so far off I'd only finish second if Del Potro can finish it off.

Whoah. I did not see that coming. Just goes to show what a crazy French this has been.
Falafaclese and I will now be pulling for Fed like crazy on Sunday (as if we wouldn't have before--riiiiiight).

This is the best French ever! I cannot believe I came in first in both brackets. Congrats falafaclese for our shared men's win. Now, what do I get? (Heh.)

As befitting the French, you each get: Well done!

falafaclese or anyone else who's done these things before, want to get us going on the Wimbie bracket? I'm hesitant to try and do the thing myself, i'd probably get it all backwards!
