Djoker was just warned for taking too long. They showed the umpire, and it was a totally unfamiliar face to me, Damien Du-something. I was expecting to see one of the usual, comforting suspects in the chair. Does the FO handle this differently?

This is crazy. I don't think I can take much more, even with Feds winning the first set. On a positive note, I've taught my four-year-old niece to chant, "Go Red TEAM!" She told me she loves tennis. I think this might be the first she's seen of it!
(Off topic: my nephew has been introducing me to friends as his "burping aunt." It's nice to have a talent that so impresses six year olds.)

Which reminds me. . . I'll be an hour north of Chicago June 23 through July 5. Just sayin'. . .
eta: you know what is cracking me up about my stream? The sound is on time but every time it is an important point the screen freezes so I have to listen to the crowd to figure out if something good or bad has happened. And, boy oh boy, this is a pro-Fed crowd.

I'll see what I can do, lt! Drinks and a burping contest in Union Station with oops!
This match isn't doing anything good to my heart...

He actually is one of the regulars, harry, although not as regular as the regulars your thinking of! I'm afraid to comment on this match for fear of ruining the delicate balance that exists between my own mind, the universe, and the aura of this match.

OMG be still my hea-t ...my man is up a set and 5-2. Go, go, go, beat him oh please Fed make me a happy woman. I can't believe it, but I should have faith ... not that I conside- it a done deal, but I am so happy with the way things a-e going. I don't even ca-e if he wins the whole thing(I lie), but to get to the final would be so fantastic. Plus I would LOVE fo- Fed to be the one to b-eak Djok's st-eak .... no shame in going down to the best playe- to eve- live, I even think Nole would -athe- go down to the G-eat One, instead of some stupid off day against any old guy.
ETA: I'm gonna have a hea-t attack of joy and walk a-ound in a happy daze all day if Fed pulls this off ... even with him being the g-eatest thing eve-, I went into this all gloomy and pessimistic.
I know exactly what you mean about that delicate balance, hah, as if anything I do actually affects his match, winning o- losing, but I still feel like I have to do the "-ight thing" (whateve- that is) to give him his best chances. Yes, yes I have the powe-!

I'm surprised the FO doesn't start its men's semis earlier. There's only about an hour of daylight left as 2:04 ET, and there have been only five sets played in the day. True, they were long sets, but that's to be expected at RG.

Heh.
Double heh.
Now I'm all panicking that Djokovic will come back and win in 5 which would give him 1) #1, 2) win streak, 3) break Fed's never-losing-a-match-after-being-up-two-sets record.
And now Roger is double faulting. . . STOP!

I'm too tense to express how awesome this comment is.
I'm so tense I'm yelling at The Real Harry, even though he totally doesn't deserve it. He just needed to go outside and, you know, take care of business.

I, too, am among those afraid to say anything right now. But my fingers are crossed nonetheless.

Up 2 sets to love I'm going to be absolutely gutted if Fed loses this. I thought I was -esigned to an inevitable Djok win ... but SO not. I mean, if it was a clean, decisive win/loss, okay, but a tense close fight, I can't take it.
ETA: and I don't even dislike Djok, it's not that ... it's just do NOT beat my man, not allowed, only Nadal is allowed to do that, and it's not exactly like I like that eithe-, just can accept it. Basically, Fed should win eve-y match, yup all of them. Especially and ext-emely at the Slams. All of them, undefeated, the end.

This is an entertaining match. That's all I'll allow myself to say right now. My head is spinning.
