Harry that is great news about Fios getting TTC! Now if they would only place it on a lower tier at Time Warner Cable - but I can't complain, at least I get it.
fala, when I have a lot of recording to do from the AO I just record it from the Standard Def channel, not in HD. It's the only way my DVR will contain it. Would that help?
printwhore, I was going to ask you for your photos! I really envy you getting within 10 feet of all the players! I have photos from the US Open but no one is in close up, even though I used a 300mm telephoto. Your descriptions are great I agree!

ooooh, Feli meets the winner of Isner/Nalbandian in the next round. I think I'll root for John just so I can watch it on TV. Boy, was I wrong, wrong, wrong about Feli in 2010. I thought he should find a really good doubles partner and concentrate on his doubles game and here he is, highest singles ranking of his career. eta: Kim was talking about her husband moving into (basketball) coaching and here it is. He took a job in December as the coach of a semi-pro team in Belgium. Good for him. I hope he enjoys it.

Add me to the printwhore fan club. It's always such a thrill to get the inside scoop from my TH peeps.
I can't see Haas winning, but I'm impressed nonetheless.
(Anyone else with Dish network? I've got a free TTC preview during the AO. Or it's been added to my tier, which I highly doubt.)

tiki, I was hoping for you but I just googled it and it is a free preview until early February. Darn. I'm rooting hard for Haas but that's not going to help.

GrandSlamGuru - Don't know. As far as ESPN is considered, McHale is more important than anything a Grand Slam champion has done. I'm more focused on Nadal/Haas - and hoping Haas stays healthy for a few months.

It hasn't appeared yet. But thanks for all the congratulations. :-) It's a happy day in the Harry Household.

Thank you, printwhore, for the great reports. And for the tips on visiting the AO. I have promised myself I will go one day. (Maybe Roger will play until he's 40.)
Congrats to everyone's tennis viewing! (Our cable-free life will force me to occupy my friends' basement and DirecTV in the next week+)

Damn. But I am glad I stayed awake to see Haas go shirtless. . . .

Wish you lived closer, oops!
And yeah, I know, lt, but thanks for thinking of me! All this modern connectivity costs so much, I just can't take that extra satellite charge. [/cheap]
Haas shirtless definitely made tonight worthwhile!
ETA good news that Feds gets a walkover? And damn, I like him, but those hands remind me of old werewolf movies.

...And Wozzzzzzz still has not quite figured out how to dress her figure. I shouldn't judge; it took me forever. I'd like to see a different #1 woman after this tournament. Anyone else?

Me too, tiki, it's ironic there are so many women that could become number one after this event. I'd prefer someone who has shown she can win a slam, Kvitova, Li Na (is she one of the group?), etc.
I think Roger had a walkover once when he won Wimbledon, so hopefully this one won't have a negative effect.

Jelena Rstic: tinypic.com/r/2rqeh74/5She was right beside me, I kept trying to discreetly take pictures of her! She noticed but was cool about it. She applauds winners from Novak's opponents. She also applauds him when she notices that he's put in the effort, even if he didn't win the point.
