Why don't you bold yourself falafaclese? You're so modest.
Why do I do well with the Women? 'Cause I'm as much of a headcase as they are?

I agree with lt about f'clese. But not the headcase part.
I can't believe I won anything. I'm horrible at picking winners.

I have Kim C beating Serena and Novak beating Del Potro. I also have Roger going out in the quarters for the first time in forever. I have no reasonable explanation for any of these picks.

I'll do the WTA later but for the ATP I have Fer vs. Roddick in the final with Fer winning. Yes, I expect to lose badly. I made some wacky choices in this one--and I'll have to try to remember to edit my choices when the qualifiers get placed.

Somehow, I've managed to work it so that Andy Roddick and Sveta Kuznestova will be our new Aussie Open champions. I always feel like these brackets end up getting a mind of their own, and I'm often surprised at who I end up picking as a winner.

So true! I go into the blank bracket thinking one thing but end up with something completely different when I go through each match up. How does everyone do their brackets? I start with the 1st round at the top, go down to the bottom, start the 2nd round at the bottom, work my way up to the top, do the third round from the top, go down to the bottom, etc. etc.

I work my bracket pretty much like you, lt. OCD is fun!
I have Federer over Roddick in the men's final -- I wouldn't have predicted choosing Roddick to go that far, but somehow it happened. Serena over Clijsters in the women's. No idea why.

Looking forward to another season of predicting, and projecting my wants over what will probably happen again and again.

I go quarter by quarter, working my way up to the quarterfinalist for the first section, then moving onto the next and so on from top to bottom. Then I usually do the quarterfinal and semifinal matches for the top half, and then the same for the bottom half, then the final.
Sometimes if I feel exceedingly strong about someone, I'll go ahead and plug them in for the final or semifinal, and work backwards through their section.
