I have Venus beating Lisicki in the women's final, and Federer beating Murray in the men's final. I feel oddly at peace with those quasi-wacky outcomes. I may tinker with them some more, though.

acre - Didn't mean too much trouble. Just looking at the Yahoo page and see that Tipsarevic may be hurt and definitely had a meltdown in his final (though I had him losing to Karlovic unaware he was still playing this week). Might have to worry about Hantuchova and Kvitova as well, though they sound more precautionary retirements.

I feel bad for Roddick but I also don't think he believes and that's the problem a loss like the one to Murray can cause when you don't have many matches. I have that section of the draw completely falling apart leading to an unseeded quarterfinalist.

I thought it was Bartoli who had the injury during the final against Kvitova. Did Kvitova get injured at some point too?

You're right, it's Bartoli. I'd remembered Marion won but who was hurt escaped my mind so assumed it was the loser.

Huh - I highly doubt I will stay in 1st on the WTA! Actually, I can't even -emembe- my picks in eithe- case ... match by match, o- champion. I'm gonna assume I went with a Williams'(which?) and I'm positive I chose Nadal o- Fed. But on the ATP, did I go with what I think will happen(Nadal), o follow my hea-t(you all know what that means)?

I'm rather amazed by my ATP bracket. I have 6 of 7 quarterfinalists so far - with the Rafa match yet to be determined! Figured the section Tomic came out of would be a crapshoot (I had Melzer but I just suspected Soderling would lose in the first week) but picking Feli really should have backfired. Still don't know what possessed me to pick Fish over Berdych, however.

Ladies side, forget it. I was in last before the sisters went out. I only had Serena to the quarters so why I bought into Venus is a mystery to me.

Going into this, I felt much more confident about my ATP bracket than my WTA bracket, but Sabine is really paying dividends. It's a shame it had to come at the expense of Madame Li though. And I picked Fish over Berdych too, but I didn't have any reservations about it at all with the way Berdych has been stinking up the joint lately.

Can you/how do you check what you- picks we-e? I have no recollection of who I picked fo- what, just assumptions about what I would have been thinking o- hoping. I mean, I know I went p-etty safe, with what was to be expected, but details? Woosh.
