I meant to go in on this, but I would've c-ashed and bu-ned in a big way. Djok fo- the men, and Kim then Ma-ia fo- th women. Not so much. Not that I'm not excited about the winne- and contende-s, love it, but neve- would have picked them.

Cool. I thank predictability on the men's side... and total unpredictability on the ladies' side for keeping me on top through to the semis.

Starting with the men:
Wow, how badly do I want to be able to watch Gonzo vs. Dolgo in the first round? That's some fun right there.
Murray's quarter is kinda cracking me up--considering how the guys are playing, on paper his first few rounds could be considered a cake walk.
Awww, c'mon!?! How is Isner and Mahut meeting in the first round possible?
heh, I ended up with the same final 2 as I did for the French--Roger and Murray.

Well WTF, could've swo-n I sta-ted a post he-e. Mostly bitching about the disc-epancy b/t S and V's seeding. S is 7, yes? And V is 23? C'mon. Yeah, I haven't wo-ked out the fo-mula, and yes S is the defending champ(who btw had been out a full YEAr), V has been out 5 months, and oh yeah is the FIVE time goddamn champion! Don't give me this shit. Fine with S at 7, but the-efo-e V should be in th 13-15 seeding, no? Yes!
I expect to make myself a laughingstock with my picks, but hey, we'-e all among f-iends he-e, and this is my 1st attemt so .....
Wow. just finished with the men and that's kindof a fuck of a lot of wo-k, no? Hopefully it will go mo-e smootly with the women now I'm "logged in". But also, a ton of guesses ... I mean Qual d vs Qual f ummmm how the fuck should I know? Elsewise, I wnt with the odds and my faves, nothing too wild.
Off to t-y the WTA! ... Huh, and the WTA was ext-a annoying: needed new 1st/last names, new pswds, new email - fuck if I'll remebe them all. Any helpful hints f-om you old-timers to these pools?

Do an initial one on the first day then wait to see what happens between now and Sunday. Qualifying is usually done by now but the weather pushed it to Saturday, there are the finals a few tournaments plus the inevitable withdrawal of one seed that suddenly screws up everything. Then just hope that nobody wakes up on Monday with a fever.
Then you wonder how you still ended up with the Top 4 in the semis even as you assume someone would be knocked out before then and the Williams sisters to the semis even though you believe Serena can't really do all those matches but her draw is rather nice.

I have the womens seeds holding more than any sane man should, and I just went for the easy, but most likely outcome on the mens side for the semis. Though I was tempted to put Roddick in Murray's place because I feel bad for him.
