I'm PVR-ing and I swear it requires precognitive abilities to get the right TSN for the matches you want to watch. Is there any listing of who will be playing on TSN1-3-4-5?
I'm enjoying watching the canadian contingent, it's such a novelty. Pospisil has such puppy-like charisma (my cheer for him is "puppy power!"), Raonic's stoicism (heh which Pospisil slagged once) and Bouchard's ambition (and possible stealth bitchiness).
Nadal and Sharapova both had engrossing games today. I haven't seen Nadal's interview to see why he was feeling so sick. I do sympathize with stomach issues (except for Henin's HA) ... I once was suffering cramps/runs on a trapeze (stressful! but no disaster thankfully).

Almagro looks the same as ever to me, harry. I don't know why I think he's cute. Some things are just destined to be mysteries.
Speaking of mysteries, ha, lizm, you tease us with your trapeze story!
I am HATING all the tennis-ball-colored outfits. How is that okay? Also, that yellow freaks out my HD TV.

Well, BLECH, Roger! So much for that!

As you might expect, I'm bumming out about Roger. I slept through the match inadvertently, and then of course was not motivated to watch any of it. Was he in one of those listless, mistake-prone moods the way he was against Cilic at the USO last year?
They just played a clip of him greeting Seppi at the net, and it was nice to see the warm, genuine smile he gave Seppi. I great win for the charisma-free Italian.
Yeah, most of them look just awful. I would love to know how sales of these current outfits compare to earlier years and color schemes. I suspect they're dismal.

Yeah, most of them look just awful. I would love to know how sales of these current outfits compare to earlier years and color schemes. I suspect they're dismal. I have to wonder if the choice is strategic. But like Sharapova's screams, it seems that players aren't objecting. These neon outfits are NOT going to make old footage look fashionable when it's reviewed in later years. The commentators were disparaging Dudi's "off the shelf" classic outfit compared to Rafa's neon pink shirt and METALLIC PINK DISCO SHORTS. I mean, wtf. tikigirl the trapeze story is a bit of a disappointment, I wanted to leave it sounding like I had an exciting life in the circus before you foiled my plans. I was at a resort with trapeze apparatus that they would train you to use (and seriously? Push you off the platform if you got scared! That poor woman!) So I was determined to do it even though I just had stomach problems in the restroom RIGHT BELOW and my stomach was cramping and I was wearing a swimsuit. Then they strap your waist VERY tightly with the safety belt. A crowd of spectators below, my friends taking video... Thankfully, I managed to tumble a somersault into the safety net without incident. I would've tried a bunch more times except... I wasn't going to tempt fate any further.

OMG, liz, that trapeze story is harrowing, but for completely different reasons than one would think for a trapeze story.
Anyone staying up/getting up early to watch Kvitova/Keys? (Crickets.) Okay, I may not, but I'm looking forward to watching it on DVR tomorrow during the snow storm that's predicted here. They're my two current favorite women players, so I'm not sure where my rooting interest will end up. I suspect I'll be rooting for Keys, but I really love Kvitova too.

Ah, lizm, rest assured that your life is much more exciting than mine, even if you're not a carny. My big moment yesterday was spilling a glass of wine on my back porch after editing technical documents for eight hours. Scintillating!
Tennis? I didn't watch any yesterday. Did I miss anything exciting?

I saw Kvitova/Keys, and Madison looks very good. I would have like to see it live, but i had very little sleep the night before, and at a certain point fairly early last night, I found myself having trouble staying enough to even make my way to bed. Talk about a catch 22.
I was totally floored when I heard Fed lost. I was rooting for him.

Yeah, I watched K/K on PVR as well, along with Bouchard's win and Pospisil's loss. But with several channels carrying different courts, it's hard to know which to record.
Tonight, I'm kinda browsing live but nothing looks REALLY interesting. Sharapova is rolling through Peng, so I'm watching the Men's doubles.
I'm looking forward to Murray-Dimitrov (still the prettiest!)

I'm watching men's doubles too. Max and Feli are playing! And winnineg! It is so rare that they show a doubles match that isn't a final and involve the Bryan brothers. Wilson has finally figured out that Lopez should not be wearing big, baggy shorts.
Did I tell you guys I met the Wayne Bryan this summer? He was the entertainment at the players party for a tournament the club I play at hosted this summer. I'm sure I must have. I found his humour really offensive.

I found his humour really offensive. I don't recall, but isn't it kind of satisfying when someone meets your expectations like that? Ugh, I want to go to bed and I don't know which TSN to record. Edit: and I wake up this morning to find that nothing recorded. Sigh. #firstworldproblems

This match between Azarenka and Cibulkova so far is very entertaining. I don't know how Cibulkova hits the ball as hard as she does when she is so little. So far she has four times as many winners as Azarenka and I think Azarenka is going to being having nightmares about that forehand down the line.

This is an unbelievably good match between Vika and Cibulkova. Who knew?

That was quite the match. I'm not a big Azarenka fan but I enjoyed watching her today. Cibulkova was just playing brilliantly. The next time I play I'm going to start yelling "Pome!" after I hit a great point. Only problem is that I'm in Canada so everyone will just think I'm yelling "Apple" in French which will just earn me some puzzled looks.

LOL breezybee "Pome!" indeed.
Serena had to work hard for it, but she pulled it out. Another good match.
