The commentators on the Wimby live internet broadcast mentioned that Berrer weighed more than any other pro (?) I thought that was a weird and random comment. Also, he really doesn't look that big.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the streaming completed matches? I'm trying to watch the 2nd and 3rd sets of Roger's match and all I get is BBC news.
I have half a mind to mute the ESPN coverage for the next two weeks - I don't know why the ESPN team is acting like Fed insulted their mother or something.
Why is evil Djoker above criticism? I so want to see him go down early.

Is that a weight-height ratio or just weight only?

The nice thing about the ESPN multi-channel coverage is that I don't have to listen to the ESPN main announcers. I've totally escaped Snarly Cow Sue Mott. (Love that!)
Djokovic so needs to go down. Earlier in some coverage, there was a mention of no love being lost between Nadal and Djokovic. I know Fed doesn't like the Djokorents, but is there a Nadal story out there? I haven't seen SnippyRafa since last year's Soderling match.
Kuzzy took the second set. Chaky took her second as well.

Is that a weight-height ratio or just weight only? I think they were talking about weight only, but it was a quick comment so I'm not quite sure Berrer is definitely a solid-looking guy, appears to be all muscle. Still there are some chubsters on the ATP so it seemed unlikely to me. Even Safin, though he's in shape, is 6'5" and I'd think with that large frame probably weighs more. Whatev... I wonder if that youngest Djokovic brother is even learning how to read and write properly? Hopefully they travel with a private tutor cuz that kid is never in a classroom. He's just dragged around the world by his annoying parents, looking like he'd rather be off playing with his mates.

Berrer's listed on the ATP website as 220 lbs., so I wouldn't be surprised if he is the heaviest based on those numbers. He's 6'3" and definitely looks solid. He actually looks like he's built like a basketball player. Safin is listed as 195 lbs., and Roddick, another guy who is often referred to as big, is also listed as 195 lbs. at 6'2". To be fair, I've often seen some questionable weight numbers in those profiles, but those numbers seem realistic.

Yeah, I can see 220 as being the heaviest or one of the heaviest weights on tour. I guess I'm not great at guessing weights. Anyways Berrer is serving for set 2. I hope he pulls it out...
Yes! 1 set apiece.

If Berrer had just been able to hold his nerve in that first set, he could be up 2 sets to love right now.
As it stands, I fully expect the Djerk to win the next 2 sets to take the match.

Hooray, Berrer has won the second set and is now free to embarassingly tank the next two, or possibly keep it up until he reaches match point and then tank it. I cannot allow myself to dream, even for a second, that this match is going to turn out any way other than how we all expected it to, because if I did, the heartbreak and disappointment would be too much for me to bear.

On the Djoke-Rafa question, there was match a couple of years ago where he retired against Rafa down a set and at least one break in the second, then claimed in the presser to have been in control of the match. I bet it has something to do with that.

Didn't he also do something similar against Roger in a Davis Cup match? Or maybe come up with an "injury" after falling behind?
I've never seen the media make such a big deal out of an annoying character who has only won the AO.

Ilsabing - I think that was last year at Wimby. Rafa's reponse when he was told was priceless. He was very restrained in what he said but his face read "what an idiot".
ETA - Berdych is damn close to going out in the first round.

The Rafa-Djoke match where Novak retired trailing 6-4, 6-4 and claimed to have been in control was FO 2006 semi. Its easy to confuse it with last year's semi at Wimby though, where Djoke also retired against Rafa.

I am kind of disappointed that Darcis did not win, ilsabing but Stephanie Dubois is currently giving Chakvetadze a tough time right now. Go Dubois!

Haase is owning Hewitt in the 4th set tiebreaker. That one is going to a 5th set.
Chaky/Dubois might end up 23-25 in the 3rd with 19 breaks of serve.
ETA: Thanks for the Rafe/Djok thoughts. I knew about those things, Novak's retirements and saying he was "in control." Bah. In Monte Carlo, the two of them did a tux-wearing casino thing. I noticed that when Novak asked Rafa a question, Rafa would reply politely but not actually look at Novak. Seemed odd. That and Rafa's "Bitch Please" looks about Djokovic's retirements are the only things I've seen.
