What an asshole. I wish Federer had cracked him with his racquet. After what happened to Seles, I'm sure nobody would blame him.

How pissed would we all be if someone put one of those huge umbrellas up in front of us?

Yeah, Feds was strangely passive.
I'm surprised by how few people are here (and none of the mostly-nice anti-Roger folks), given the potential for history. Or maybe not everyone bothered to log in.
Anyway, FUCK OFF, RAIN!

Roger is starting to play a little more tentatively. I don't know if it's the rain, the asshole, or what.

It feels like Soderling has loosened up a bit too. I hope the rain doesn't stick around though.

Goddam fucking alarm clock! It's SO unreliable - it turns on the alarm but sometimes randomly it changes the volume to 0 on the player before turning on! WTFWTF.

You're here right in time for the worst tension, lizm. Hee. Or, not. I'm so nervous my teeth are tingling (don't ask -- I have no idea).

Haha, thanks tikigirl. With Fed already up a set, I wasn't feeling QUITE the pressure - but now with him up 2 sets, I'd be ok with Sod taking the 3rd and making it competitive. I'm a bit perverse like that.

Are you sure you didn't get a hold of some bad gin? I'm glad Fed wasn't shaken by that crazy court rusher. That second set tie break was almost a formality.

Oh, liz, I'm sorry. I'm putting the final on DVD if you want to watch the whole thing.
tiki, my teeth are tingling too--either a front is coming through or I'm super-nervous.

Can't believe I missed the crazy fan either (grouchy)
ETA: Thanks for the offer, lt! It looks like TSN2 will be replaying the match this afternoon, so I'll watch the end before the beginning, as it were.

Coffee for now, f'clese, so I can only blame the Folger's. I save the bathtub gin for the AO (most of the time -- and what fond memories I have of some of our online drinking-and-tennis fests).

I didn't know Wertheim wrote a book about last year's Wimbledon final--I'll have to get that. Do you think Tursunov is stamping his feet in some hotel room in London crying "it wasn't the best, it wasn't the best!?
eta: oh goodness, just because I'm already thinking about Roger lifting the cup doesn't me he should be thinking about it. I shouldn't have been comfortable enough to eat a little something--I jinxed it.
PHEW! I'm like the french crowd--I just want Roger to win.

Hee! Ahh, the joys of tennis in the middle of the night! I I guess it's too early even for coffee of the Irish variety. I'm feeling slightly enervated from playing tennis and then drinking a little vino last night.
Soderling doesn't look particularly threatening right now.
