When I wake up early on weekends to watch tennis, I want to see a good match. Yesterday's was painful to watch, today's is just dull. Oh well.

"As well as Roger is liked in the locker room..." - my mind immediately went into the gutter.

Maybe because all my need for Roger to get this win is so great but I'm not seeing this match as dull. There have been some nice rallies and some beautiful shots from Roger. But you are right--for someone not in my position, not a lot of drama. I was thinking about this when I woke up this morning--for a sports fan who just turns on the final of a slam, they must wonder why there are tennis fans. Like the Superbowl. People who don't watch football who only turn on the Superbowl must wonder why the hell it is such a popular sport.

I kept having dreams that Soderling won. It made for a very anxious sleep.
I cant believe it took so long to get that random guy off the court. He was an idiot, but it could have been dangerous.

It makes me feel good to know I'm no where near the only one who dreams about tennis matches like this. Heh I don't feel quite so crazy over invested. In my dream, Soderling won the 1st set in a tiebreak and then I turned it off.

I saw oops logged on here earlier, so I don't think she made it to Paris. Wish she'd join us, though.
I'm getting nervous again, for no good reason that I can see.

Tiki, I'm on the edge of my seat and typing compulsively. This changeover is going to be hell for Roger.

It seems a bit much to be crying already. Damn pull it together until you've actually won it!! Don't jinx it.

Ooooh, no commercial. And John must not want to jinx anything either because he was supposed to go courtside a couple of games ago.

This is why I chose my avatar-I love Roger, but the guy can get too emotional. I get so overinvested in sports, but I only seem to dream about tennis results.
