Thank you Dorkgirl for the invitation to this forum! I don't know why it took me this long to post, but anyway.
I'm Mell, same name as on TWoP. I probably won't post much before the AO but I check out the forum everyday.
My favorite players: Rafael Nadal, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Justine Henin, Venus Williams.

Welcome, mell, I'm glad you joined us here. On a purely selfish level, I'm especially glad to have another Henin fan around. You must have loved the women's YEC. Anyway I'm looking forward to your posts.

Thank you for posting the link to this board over at TWOP Dorkgirl. I intended to join earlier but somehow lost the link. I'm really looking forward to the season this year. I think the field on both the men and women's sides are becoming more competitive and I can't wait for someone else to step up at a major in the men's game. I hope that year is this year. Looking forward to talking tennis with all of you. |

Expect Na Li to go far. She has a decent draw, and I think she can beat Venus with the way she's been playing.

Hi! One more transfer from TWOP here. It made me so sad when they killed the Tennis thread. I read it religiously. Thanks for posting the link to this forum. I'll likely lurk 99% of the time but I'll be here pretty much every day hoping for news and pics and links and great commentary just like before.

I also like Monica, GuGu, Martinez, Rafter
I also think Doubles doesn't get the coverage it should!

I've been falling in love with tennis watching jennifer capriati when she was 14....(many years ago...) and monica seles at the beginning of her dominance.jim courier was my favorite one in the male circuit.then it came kim clijsters....but she has decided that her career should be short so that....here we're are!
