Hi everyone. Just checking things out because wtaworld is overrun with tards. I'm the same sfselesfan @ wtaworld. I'm a bit of a smartass, so don't be offended. I try to say intelligent things though, and be fair to everyone.
I miss Monica.
I love Venus. I like most everyone else, particularly the Serbs (for Monica's sake mainly). I have a sot spot for Serena, even though she can be a little too much to handle at times. I tend to cheer for her.
The only player on the tour that I don't particularly care for is Justine. I've had some issues with her sportsmanship in the past but I'm the type of person who can get over that eventually...I just haven't completely yet.
I love men's tennis too. I'm "Pelotas" at MTF but I mainly lurk there because the people are even worse that WTAworld. My favorite men's player is Nadal and I tend to favor the Spanish players overall. I also have a soft spot for my favorite (albeit inconsistent) bad boy Safin.
On a personal note. The basics are: I'm 31, gay, partnered for 6 years, live in San Francisco, and an attorney.
I also sign every post. It annoys some people (the right people). I do it because it helps me find my posts when I'm scanning through a thread and people quote me. Try not to let it bug you because the more you complain about it the less likely I am to stop doing it.

I'm Toko from the men's forums, joined recently.
Not a big fan of WTA, but I'll watch pretty much any atp match. I really enjoy all players, as long as they are putting some effort into their game.

I was invited here by dorkgirl a while back from WTA World/Men's Tennis Forums (posted as SixLoveSixLove on both sites) although have taken a (possibly permanent) hiatus from both sites due to the fact that intelligent and decent posters on both sites, who actually want to talk about tennis, have sadly become a dying breed.
I have been watching tennis since Wimbledon 1999, the match that got me into the sport was Monica Seles v Mirjana Lucic.
I like both men's and women's tennis, although my interest in the WTA has waned slightly over the past year.
My favourite players (and it was hard to choose just five from each!) are:
