French Open '10: Point by point coverage

I've been up since about 730am eastern, you lazy slugs. My bladder is on a work timer. I've ironed enough shirts for 3 weeks while listening to Radio Roland Garros.

Pennetta/Wozniacki is boring the crap out of me. Federer/Wawrinka just started. I expect that to be another yawner.

That mimosa would have been nice with my morning banana, tiki.

Sunday is my one sleep-in morning but of course my neighbor woke me up at 6 something calling her dang dog "Kirby! Breakfast time!" And then my own dang cat woke me up again meowing in my face because she wanted to be petted. Dang animals.

Does Pennetta have no clothing/shoe sponsorship? She's wearing adidas (and it's a cute outfit) but wearing Nike shoes. Weird. She's a top player.

Wozniacki might be the sweetest player on the tour but her matches last FOREVER. Forever in that I think the rapture might start partway through them.

I just realized: since NBC is going to be airing matches that are long over they won't be able to even drop in on other matches like they were doing yesterday. Should I just give up for the day now?

You won't believe this but my tortoise woke me up banging against his habitat to indicate his desire for food...now! Spoiled brat. And this is after I'd be out dancing into the wee hours wearing heels that were NOT sensible. So I'm half asleep AND somewhat hobbled. Mimosa, please!

Sorry to learn that Venus lost but she had a decent tourney for this surface.

So TTC is showing the Williams Sisters doubles match instead of showing Robin/Marin....sigh.

And because of the crap that is NBC there will only be coverage of one of the men's Ro16 matches- and it will most likley be completely taped.

And the tennischannel live stream doesn't have them either. *sob* I cannot wait until tomorrow when it is back to ESPN2. I think today will be a baseball day for me.

I kind of like the skirts-and-leggings look that the WS are sporting. I also wish I could watch the Federer and/or Soderling match instead, no offense to doubles.

NBC bungles the coverage every single time. In the internet age, it's not realistic to show taped sports and pretend it's live. UGH.

No kidding- and showing taped play is likely not the best way to get ratings... I hate how NBC embargos coverage too and prevents other stations from showing stuff.

Okay TTC, stay on the singles. . . as happy as I am for Halladay I don't need to see his perfect game coverage any more and Morales freak leg break hurts my stomach so I want to watch tennis.

When watching Rafa's bag check does anyone not imitate him when he says "I'm Rafa Nadal"? It's so distinctive and fun to mimic.
