(How sad that I'm looking to you all to make up my mind about things.) My weekday gym doesn't have ESPN2. Eh, I made up my mind. I want to watch so I'm staying.
I'm doing the same thing I did over the weekend--the Live Scores is one point ahead of the stream so whenever I get too nervous I look at Live Scores so I know the result of the point. Pathetic--I do the same thing with books.

Can they PLEASE go to the other match? No, don't "check in" on it, Cliff. Show the fucking match. God, if I could get any crankier about this coverage...

Rafa for the win!
Almagro played very well and should be pleased with his performance.

I am a fangirl of Nico and am actually shocked by how glum I am about him not taking a set against Rafa- who you all know I adore.
Nico is 24 right now and it is time for him to start showing more. He showed great play today but needs to do adrility drills or something. I do hope that he can do well on the hard courts...

Maybe he'll bloom a little later, like Fer. I think it bodes well that he's playing well enough now he's it isn't such a fluke when he makes it deep into a tournament. It's no longer a surprise.
Hey, the Williams sisters have a match point in their doubles match. eta: Nevermind, they have a WIN in their doubles match! Good for them. Stick that in your complaining purse Liezel.

Ah, falafaclese, watching Live Scores, eh?
Crowd now firmly backing Nole since we've made it to the fifth.

They won. Interestingly, Anabel Medina Garrigues walked off the court ater the match without waiting for Huber. Am I reading too much into that, or was she pissed at her partner?

If Rafa wasn't such a nice guy, I imagine he's watching this match and laughing - his next opponent will be drained. If Novak survives, he only has himself to blame for getting his ass kicked on Friday.

I thought we destroyed the board too!
I think I'm a little in love with Melzer right now. So aggressive! Those last two sets were instant classics--the first three, not so much. Those last games were thrilling. The shot making! Beautiful. My heart is telling me I got my cardio workout in today.
If Melzer had lost the match that first match point (when he dumped the ball into the net on what should have been an easy put away) would have haunted him for a month.
And to put in what got lost when the board died:
I'm going with the latter because it is more fun.
eta: ooooh, EuroSport now has Mats talking about the match. Go to atdhe.net for the stream if you wanna see. Mats is aging beautifully. The cragginess suits him.

Hmm, maybe we DID blow up the board. It's rather quiet in here.

I'm here, but working. That last set of the Rafa match, scoreboard watching, was KILLING me.
Is Melzer going to be physically able on Friday? That was a long match.
