I can't wait to get home and see the Berdych/Djoker match. Did Beaker look crushed? I revel in his dissapointment.
I would really like to see Murray win the whole thing but I'm good with Berdych or Nadal winning too.

I only saw the end of this because I allowed myself to sleep finally but although I'm still crushed for Roger I'm happy that Tomas followed up by beating Djoker. It will make for a better final and if Berdych wins it well good for him. I think a Berdych/Murray final would be the craziest as said just now because they will be two first timers and all.
So how far apart are Djoker and Roger in the rankings after this (said she too lazy to figure it out)?
And NBC, you and your tape delay. You don't deserve Wimbledon.

I can answer that, because I already worked out the numbers with Beaker making it to the semis:
Yup, that close.
apocalipstick, I agree. He makes half-hearted attempts to improve, like hiring Todd, but when Todd didn't fit in so well with his camp he was dumped. With some players you look at their skills and potential and you think "what a waste" when they can't get to the next level. With Beaker? Have I even forgotten what made him a threat in the first place? He wins many matches, but I'm having trouble thinking of the one thing he could do to keep him winning more consistently.

Oh great, thanks lt! Since Roger only won Cincinnati going into the USO last year (if I'm remembering right) I think there's a decent chance he can pass Djoker.

I didn't bother to get up for the Djokodych match, but I'm glad the "King" lost. Great analysis re: his game, apocalipstick. He often strikes me as simultaneously arrogant and fearful. He won't get anywhere with that mess.
Count me among those who'd like to see a new champion here, even though I'm not particularly a fan of Berdych and Murray.
The Verdasco/Lopez pic reminds me of nothing so much as an ad for a really high-end gay porn flick set in the Greek Isles. Bromance turns to romance in the crystal waters off Mykonos...
(edited for truly atrocious typos. I am so useless before noon.)

Come on, Andy, for the love of god.... please!
Never more pleased than to come home from a dawn meeting and find the first semi's results... WOW!
ETA: Ha, tiki. I'd actually develop an affinity for that narcissist if he went in that direction.... Ferrer is a good choice!

Seeing David Beckham scratching his son's head, and looking at him dotingly is giving my charred, vinegar-soaked heart a run for its money.

Don't get me all excited for man on man, tiki!
I think I'm into a King thing today. I was thinking about why I never learned to play chess well a while ago...
See what I get for not previewing??
ETA: Arrogant yet fearful. Perfect.

Argh! I didn't realize how much I wanted Andy to win this match. I'm pleasantly surprised at the large number of Rafa fans in the crowd.

Me too lt. And now I find myself infuriated. I'm obviously not watching on anything. Is Andy looking at all as if there were hope?

This is a good match, I'm surprised that Murray managed to break after losing that tense tiebreak.

It does seem like a Michael Lucas film. Not that I've seen any, of course. Um... hey, this is a close tennis match. There have been many, many high quality points with insane defense from both players.

Well great. Now that I've mentally inserted David in to the Feli/Fer picture I have to try and concentrate on the budget I'm writing at work. Now that's a lost cause.
This Murray/Nadal match sounds like a good one. Is Murray yelling and stomping around? I'd really like to see 5 sets out of this one.
