I've hated Soderling since he made fun of Rafa at Wimby and I saw the saddest face in the world on Rafa. That being said I really liked his speach today. I haven't completely changed my mind about him but every time he said "yoking" I smiled.

I can't quit you, babes... Seriously, I keep lurking around here and reading comments and pinching myself. Does anyone know if there's going to be a televised replay of the final? Like an instant classic or whatever? My cousin is arriving in town today, and she missed the match, and I didn't record it.

AHA! I promised I would do it if Fed won and here it is! Animated shirt-changing Fed. It took me forever to figure out how to do it (I love Photoshop) but now I know and watch out. . .
(This one is a little sloppy, but it's my first one. I'll practice with size and tweening and then they'll be crazy. Sorry admin.)
eta: okay, so I cropped the images better, tweened it and set it so it will only loop 5 times in a viewing (I don't want everyone getting a headache).
On to actual French Open stuff. Roddick is having to defend himself on his Twitter for calling Roger the GOAT after the win today. Whether Roger is or isn't, I think Roddick is allowed his opinion. It is sure better than some yahoo's opinion who uses text speak.

Roger put up like a :28 video this evening on Facebook introducing us to his new friend, the Coupe de Mouseketeers (yes I know that's not how you spell it but it conjures up great imagery!). He's such an unrepentant dork.

It is sure better than some yahoo's opinion who uses text speak. Why is he having to defend himself? I think it's a valid argument. What are people telling him? What's the link for Roddick's Twitter account? Now I want to read what he said.

I saw the game on replay just now on Fox Sports 3. I must say I was very impressed with their coverage this year. Those who saw it on the feed, were you guys happy with it?
Today I was able to see the match in its entirety and then the awesome post match ceremony. BRIALLIANCE. Everyone was so gracious.

Here you go. It's just another example of him being a good guy off the court. He seems to reply to everyone who tweets him. Thanks for the offer oops, and thanks for the link roseha. I'm going straight there after the Lopez match at Queens is over. Mpol, I love FOXsports3--you have some class coverage in Australia.

Yeah no I thought it was pretty great as well. I was VERY impressed. RG is the slam Australian's don't usually do well in. In the past our lack of interest has shown but the past few years have been awesome. Bring on Wimby.

He is too cool. Such a humble goofy guy.
Anyone seen him in real life or had any kind of experience with him? Other than oggling at his tennis over the TV.

It will be interesting to see if/how this win will influence Fed's play. I wonder if this weill give him enough confidence to get back to where he was, and if the number one spot will become a two-man race again. I'm not making any kind of prediction there, just wondering. I think it will give him a reason to relax a bit though, which should be good for him. I think the wild card for the rest of the year will be Andy Murray. He seems to be improving the most out of the top four, and still has some time before he runs up against some big points to defend from last year. Wimby is going to be very interesting. I hope Rafa is OK to play. It would be nice to have all top players playing when they're all for the most part on the upswing form-wise.
