MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL, UFC, Olympics, etc... If it's a sport mention it here.

Just to kick things off. It's incredibly surprising to me that Indy is out of the playoffs and that they lost to the Chargers. I did enjoy watching Rivers trash talk with the Indy fans though. I doubt that he'll do it when he's in NE. Dallas is out too, no more T.O.

So incredibly sad about the Colts, I love them. I can't stand Rivers and the rest of the Chargers, though I like LT.
And WTG to the Giants!!!! For the first half I didn't think they had a chance, but I am so happy they kept fighting and managed to win.
Now I don't care who wins in Giants vs. Packers, I love both teams. Too bad they both couldn't be in the Super Bowl.

But what about BASEBALL???
Just kidding...but that's my other big sport. I love the White Sox. Any other baseball fans here? If not, I'll shut up...

Okay, who thought that Eli would be the only Manning left at this point?
As for Baseball - I can't wait until training camp because I'm already sick of the Clemens mess. I'm a NYer so it's nonstop noise. Likely, they're both liars.

I've been a Giants fan since the day I was born (hence my username--that LaDainian should be LDT) but I agree. My first and second favorite teams--and I'm spending the second half of this week in Wisconsin! (I'm bringing my LT jersey--let's see how long I can get away with that.) And I just love our new defensive coordinator--Spagnuolo--he's right there on the sideline, changing the plan when it doesn't work (hence so few yards for Barber in the 2nd half). Heck, he even does a little prayer when Dallas has 4th and 11. Cannot believe I like a guy who came from the Eagles.
Oh, and I don't like Rivers either. Thank goodness we didn't get him (although I'm not an Eli fan--not because of the good/not good but because the offensive scheme was always going to change with him as QB and I'm a fan of the running, eat-up-the-clock style of Giants play. Roethlisberger would have been perfect for us).

I'm from Brooklyn but moved about 8 years ago and married a long suffering Falcons fan. My Mets love is wide and deep but I was never a big Giants fan. My baby bro is though (he spent several summers in Stonybrook at Giants pee wee camps) so he's delighted.
And LT, there is only one LT to my way of thinking. I like Tomlinson but I still cringe when I hear it!
I thought that Colts had the best chance of offing the Pats but I would be thrilled for the Bolts if they did so.

I'm a rabid Mets fan (though I doubt there is any other kind) but I've got to get thru the Superbowl, March Madness and hopefully a playoff appearance by the Atlanta Hawks before I can let Mets fever consume me!

Mixing basketball and tennis: did anyone else see that Joakim Noah was benched for a game by his fellow players? Ouch. I know he had some issue with an asst. coach but I have no idea what happened after that. Wow, so I just read an article about what happened. He was benched one game for the confrontation with the coach but his teammates decided he hadn't learned his lesson. He really needs to grow up and I'm guessing the way Florida treats their players did not do him any good.

I only watch the NFL during the playoffs so it was my first time seeing him and I hated him on sight. He seems so arrogant and annoying. Is he always like that?

I live in the Uk but I got into american sports when I had a friend who was Living in NY, I try and watch NFL and Baseball when I can and try and check the scores but its hard at times! I have a soft spot for NY Mets and NY Jets as I got to see them when I was over on holiday.

Ditto, lpatrice. Actually I'm an Eagles fan, but I have to have someone to root for in the playoffs -- and someone to hate.

And the Packers are gone. I really would love it if the Pats win only because my teams are all out now.

No not the Pats, anyone but the Pats, so I guess it is up to the Giants now. Actually I think it would be cool if the Giants won. But then again, we'd be hearing all about how the Manning brothers won the Super Bowl back to back. On the flip side....The Pats.....I'll go with The Giants.
