Hmm, I was expecting Falla to make the first set close, but I wasn't expecting him to win it.

Unless Falla can keep up this level of play then Roger will win this in five sets, obviously, you stupid commentators. It's not over until it's over! We've seen this from Roger what seems like time and again lately and he always comes back to win.
And why did Dick have to come back? And Mary?
Back to the soccer I go.

Happy Wimby Day everyone.
I overslept for work, decided to take the day off, turned on the tele and...What? Federer down two sets? Wow.
But we've seen this before so I'm not writing him off just yet. But still.
So much for a slow, uneventful start to the tourney. I love this time of year!

Me too! Lousy, rotten day but I had to take a quick break to write--really Roger? COME ON MAN! Well, if he loses I certainly won't have to worry about my bracket anymore.

He just does not believe he can win a point on his second serve.
ETA: But I do. Atta boy.
ETAA: ATTA BOY!!!

Poor Davydenko--I guess I was making picks with my head because I had him winning a few matches knowing he was going to have some issues coming back. And there's Feli, battling it out with Jesse Levine way out on Court 14. Hopefully he can serve this one out.
Oy, John! It is not "match point down" when Roger has a set point to get one set to Falla's two.

My heart cannot take this. Poor Mirka just wants that woman sitting next to her to shut up.

ETA: poor mirka. i at least was able to pause the tv and turn on the scoreboard until now...
ETAA: will this be 'poca's 6-0 set?? j/k. hoping to still watch the end...

Oh Roger. . . he really didn't need to do that to me this morning.
And now I can switch over to Davydenko who has somehow managed to get to a fifth set as well.
hmmmm, I'm thinking maybe they shouldn't have scheduled Centre Court and Court One to begin late (is that normal? I don't remember them starting so late this early in the tournament). With both having really long matches to start their day, both are quite a bit behind considering it is already after 5pm.
He did it. That little bald demon. So glad to have him back. But, awww, poor Kevin. I like him and I wish he could break through a bit. Years back I thought he'd make it on the tour but he really hasn't.

Is anyone else watching on ESPN3.com? The fucking thing keeps cutting in mid-point to show commercials. Is anyone else having this problem?

See, told you he'd pull it out 6-0 in the final set.
I saw the score, two sets down and thought hmm, that's interesting. I have become so much more mellow.
