It's an interesting look, but once again, not at all athletic.

I like it loads better than the Victorian underwear though. I'll bet it moves really pretty--all 20s flapper-era. Hmmmmm, she's going in era order--knee length and seamed stockings are next. However, why does she have such a problem with her chest area? What is that weird attached flap up there?

I'm afraid Ollie may be running out of steam.

Those last few games were torturous. I hope he has enough in the tank for the 5th set. I've never seen him have fitness problems, so there's that at least.

Consolidate that break you cutie patootie (sorry, I watched some of The Courtship of Eddie's Father last night and Ronny Howard's little talk with his dad about how to talk to women is creeping into my writing patterns today.)
SHOOT! He couldn't consolidate the break.
Dammit, chest-pumping Beaker is going to win this. Darn. That would have been an example of being perfectly happy that my bracket was shot.

Just finished watching some of the tennis I recorded today. My thoughts: 1. Davydenko looks kind of hot with his hat on. Hmmmm... first Llodra, now Davydenko. 2 Mary Carillo is the most obnoxious commentator ever. Her screaming at Laura Robson every time the poor girl made a mistake was hideous. I hope the poor girl doesn't view a tape of the coverage - ever. 3. Damn Djoker. Why won't he go away?

I like it loads better than the Victorian underwear though. I'll bet it moves really pretty--all 20s flapper-era. I just saw the highlights in HD, and you're right, the movement is nice. Like her RG kit, I'm liking it in spite of the fact that there's no athletic feel in it at all. Whether each individual design is completely successful or not, she at least seems to put some more thought into what she's doing than just "I want something pretty/sexy/sparkly." It presents some visual interest, in the same way Fed has over the past years, although I think a woman can pull it off more easily than a man.

Venus says the outfit was inspired by Tina Turner, which, I can see. I actually don't mind the fringe as much as I dislike the drapey top. Tennis shouldn't have drapey things. It is better than the victorian lace though. What happened to Venus being the elegant one and Serena wearing the crazy outfits?
If Fed shows up to one of these tournaments with fringe on his clothing, I'm quitting tennis. I don't even want to thing about illusion fabric.

The only problem I have with Venus's dress is that the white bra or whatever should match the lace of the rest of the top. I don't even mind the way it sort of gapes but it should have been lace so it'd fit in more. But I like the rest of it so as long as she doesn't keep tugging on it I'll be cool.
Serena's outfit is awful. Her skirt is too short! Barely seems to cover her ass.
Let's go Rafa! Let's go Tsonga!
Thank God for Lindsay being the only sane commentator. Love her.

Sveta's opponent at first glance looks like a guy. Backwards cap, shorts, shirt, I thought it was Ginepri for a second. Anyway I wonder if she'll knock Sveta out in the 1st round.

Turned on ESPN2 for a minute before I left for work--I cannot believe that not only do we not get either Chris, we're stuck with Hannah Storm. She's the worst. There might be dissension among the ranks about McKendry but I think we all agree that Hannah does not belong at a tennis anchor desk.

Okay, those of you who are actually watching Wimbledon live need to stop your announcer whining!! I am stuck at the office and they are expecting me to pay attention and do work type things. Frustrating. Don't they know it's Wimbledon? My DVR is smoking at home though. I have 90% free space! I'm recording entire center court today as well as the ESPN coverage. Serena seems to have eased up on the gas in the second set.

Okay...so I'm listening to Radio Wimbledon Centre Court coverage. Funny. Lots of "and yet another British player crashes out!"

.
I took a lot more than the second glance to figure out she wasn't.
ETA - Is anyone watching the Blake match? I heard that Blake gave Pam Shriver a talking to for sitting in the stands and yapping in to her microphone during the middle of points.
