Hi tiki-great to see you again! Murray is a Scot. . He is British - but not English. There are some English fans who (IMO) still unjustly root against Andy because of a joke he made about English soccer in 2008 in response to some teasing by Henman about Scottish soccer. Agree w Johnny Mac - keep it named Henman Hill

Yes! I don't know the number, it is the one right after ESPN Radio (it's called ESPN Xtra). I was looking for the ESPN channel that just airs what is on the TV but I found Radio Wimbledon first. eta: try 85. I'm not sure if my channel list is from before/after the big switch last year but that's what my list says.
At least early on, this crowd is evenly divided and so excited.

Crowd cheering just as much for Feds.
I love Radio Wimbledon. You can alo get it from the Wimbles site and on the Wimbles app. I listen to it during the work week during the tourney .

I'm well aware that Murray is Scottish. I just don't give a shit about any of this British nonsense -- and I say that as someone whose background is mostly English, Irish, and Scottish!

PMac and Fowler are freaking me out--early on I think "boy, this pace is certainly different than the Djoker/Roger match" and then PMac says the exact same thing. At 25 minutes I think "the first set was already over with Djoker/Roger" and then Fowler says the exact same thing. What's weird is that the first set of Djoker/Roger was just as tight--but in such a different way.
Fed volleying. Thing of beauty. Ah, if only Roger and Venus would play mixed. The net play would be out of this world.
Tiki, my dad, who only watches tennis when I get ridiculously over-enthused about a match (like this one), was asking about Andy's opinions on the Brits with him being a Scot (he's Irish so he was curious). I was telling him about how Andy had spent his early years railing against the need for the UK to embrace him (like a good Scot should). Meanwhile, how long are you in Maine? Long enough for a trip to Fenway?

I am in love with my need to stream. Watched the whole warm-up with no chatter. The entrance to the court with regal silence. Amazing. I love quiet tennis.
lt, if they put you in the booth I'd be more than happy to go back to cable!
[hi, tiki! missed you!]

Thanks for the welcome-backs, guys! Sometimes I only watched tennis to enjoy the commentary here.
Yeah, I'm still rooting for Feds...

So, it turns out that it is as hard to watch a match when I want both players to win equally as when I desperately want one player to win. I'm hating the break points on both sides. (Although I don't feel the need to dust. . . yet.)
(tiki, look up to my earlier post if Boston can be in your New England plans.)

Cats hungry?
For me it's the opposite. My heart's racing - but that's just for the event en toto. I am happily enjoying the ups and downs. (My family wonders what is wrong with me....)

I might go catch a White Sox/Red Sox game at Fenway, lt!
This match is killing me. Back to editing.

This has already been a better final than I feared it'd be.

I'm so glad that Andy brought it today. Finally won a set in a final.
Roger needs to get on Andy's second serve.

This match is very physical so far. Quite a lot of movement on the baseline, and both of them trying to come in more than I'm used to. I wonder how fitness could play in if this match continues the way that it's going . . .
It's strange to even be asking when both players are so fit and such good movers, but it feels like they're pummeling each other.
