In other news, that adorable Mario Ancic is up a set and a break. Almagro is up two sets to love over Massu.
Serena is on. On the Dementieva front. I just want to ...I don't know. Soften her jaw. I think she'd be a lot less crazy if she had a better jawline. And better control of her hair. Yes, I am aware that I'm not making sense. I blame the wine.

You are totally right about Junqueira, Tiki! That's exactly what he looks like.
I like Aggie Radwanska. She needs to pull out this match.
Eta: And Gasquet breaks to serve for the set. I'm predicting an 11 hour match with Gasquet limping into the second round. And Dementieva goes down a break in the second...

I'm watching Gasquet/Junqueira right now on channelsurfing.net. Junq looks like the misbegotten lovechild of Marcos Baghdatis (circa 2006) and Ron Jeremy. Yikes. That's an unfortunate mixture to say the least. I was thinking Rob Schneider and Kevin Pollack, but I like your choices better. Elena just forced my boyfriend to leave the room. I myself am beginning to feel a bit ill.

And Junqueira breaks back for 5-all in the second. I'm liking this dude.
And I an all annoyed by Serena's outfit. I love the cut for her body. But that tie dye crap is ..crappy.

Another tiebreak for Gasquet. Radwanska ...did she get broken serving for the set as well? I don't blame him falafaclese, I can' barely take Dementieva on a good day

So true about Serena's tie dye, apocalipstick. It looks like she accidentally tossed a bunch of bleach in the laundry with a charcoal-colored dress.

Looks like Aggie is going to be out. Down 5-1 in the third. Gasquet took that tiebreaker and is probably going to break Junqueira now. And the Demented One takes the match.

Junqueira is still hanging in there. I keep expecting them to play some bass-heavy 70s porn music in the background of that match. Eek. Why do I have to think of things like that?

This Serena match is not exactly compelling tennis.

I miss being a college student and staying up until four in the morning to watch the Australian Open night matches. Thank goodness for Tivo, but it's not the same. I'm excited I'll get to see Hewitt v. Gonzalez before bedtime at least. The Murray and Serena matches certainly weren't anything to watch.
Gasquet better win this or I will throw something hard at the tv. I don't know why I continue to cheer for him.

Serena did paly some great tennis in the last set. I am calling it now but I think she will win this thing...
Looking forward to the Hewitt/Gonzalez match. Saw some off court footage with the guy and he seems to be a real cool dude.

I feel bad for Yuan. this is her second year in a row drawing Serena early on at the AO after making it through the qualies. She seems like she fights really hard, but just doesn't have enough firepower.

I decided to watch Big Love instead of the end of the Razzano/Gadjosova match which was interesting in a see saw kind of way. I remember Gadjosova as being a bit bulky, she looked really fit this year but couldn't manage the win.
